Gazaro beta launched with an early prototype of the technology vision to good response at TechCrunch50 and DEMO. In 2009 Gazaro officially launched its deal-finding service, the first of its planned products based on its XFiRE platform. In 2010, Gazaro launched its Price Intelligence offerings to help retailers optimize price and product mix, and increase sales, margins and customer loyalty with real-time competitive price intelligence and analytics.
Technology
Gazaro’s Extensible Fuzzy Reasoning Engine (XFiRE) platform is a massively-scalable, cloud-based engine that crawls, extracts, stores and analyzes retail pricing data. The Gazaro XFiRE™ platform, which now contains one of the world’s largest and most accurate databases of retail pricing, with over 1 billion data points and increasing by 7 million daily, is used as the foundation for all of Gazaro’s products, and enables the rapid development and deployment of new products that leverage the infrastructure.
Gazaro has invested 15 man-years in the development of a scalable machine learning platform for the real-time collection, classification, and analysis of shopping products, and has two patents pending for its technology.
